Who we are

This website belongs to Volt Bristol, e-scooter and e-bike specialists at 101-103 Bristol Road, Whitchurch, Bristol BS14 0PS. Volt Bristol is currently run as a sole trader; a limited company is being registered, and this notice will be updated with its details. What we collect, and why

• When you send an enquiry or a photo quote on this website: your name, phone number, email address, the scooter you have, your message and any photo you send. We use them to reply to you, price the work and book you in.
• When you message us on WhatsApp, call us or message us on Instagram: what you send us, so we can help. WhatsApp and Instagram are run by Meta under their own privacy policies.
• When you use the chat on this website: the messages you type, so the assistant can answer and we can follow up if you ask us to. The chat is an automated assistant.
• When we work on your scooter: the details we need to do the job and hand it back to you.

We use this information because you have asked us to help you, or to take steps towards doing work for you. We don't use it for anything else, and we never sell it.

Where it is kept and who sees it

Enquiries, photos and chat messages are stored by the company that hosts this website, on secure servers, and photos are kept private. Enquiries are also emailed to us. We only share your details where we have to: with the services that run this website and our email, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work we do for you, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. After that we delete them.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies. It counts visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and collects no personal information. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them. If you open the chat, your browser may remember that for the rest of your visit; that is cleared when you close the tab.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Email voltbristol@gmail.com and we will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when anything changes, including when the limited company is registered. Last updated 16 September 2026.
